On February 24, 2009, Skills Canada NWT will be holding its first ever Regional Youth Conference. We know it is difficult for youth from some regions to get to Yellowknife for our annual territorial youth conferences, so we wanted to try taking the youth conference to the regions.

This first regional conference will take place in Norman Wells and will be open to Grade 8 & 9 students in the Sahtu region. If successful, we hope to repeat the event every two years and offer similar events in other regions that do not already have a similar event.
