Skills Canada NWT
Regional Skills Competitions

Skills Canada NWT hosts two annual Regional Skills Competitions the NWT-North Regional Skills Competition, and the NWT-South Regional Skills Competition.

These one-day olympic style competitions offer youth an opportunity to compete against each other in a fair and fun environment. They are designed for young northerners to test their skills in a skill that they have been learning. Students should have experience in their chosen skill, but are not expected to be experts. Medal winners in most contest areas may be eligible to advance to the Territorial Skills Competition in Yellowknife. Regional Skills Competitions are open to students in grades 9-12, and to view to the contest areas, scroll through this page.
