Special Projects Coordinator
Duties include coordinating skills clubs, adding website content, delivering school presentations, working with information databases, and developing a robotics program and alumni program in cooperation with other staff. A complete job description is available here.
Candidates should be energetic team players with good attitudes and the ability to work independently. They should also be efficient, reliable, trustworthy, highly organized and detail-oriented with good computer skills and strong oral and written communication skills. Grade 12 or equivalent is required; minimum two years relevant experience or post-secondary education preferred.
Candidates must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons on whom refugee status has been conferred; candidates must also be legally entitled to work according to the relevant territorial legislation and regulations.
This position is 40 hours/week at $24/hour with optional health insurance. The position starts Sept. 1/08 and is 6 months with possible extension.
