About Us
Skills Canada NWT is a dynamic non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and developing skilled trades and technologies among youth of Northwest Territories. With a rich history spanning over two decades, we have remained at the forefront of empowering NWT talent through innovative programs and competitions.
We achieve our mission by hosting a number of hands-on, engaging programs, workshops and competitions that offers a glimpse of what life is like in the skilled trade workforce.
How Do We Do It?
Vision
By engaging youth, we hope to increase the awareness of their educational choices and inspire them to consider careers in the skilled trades and/or technology sector.
We hope to expand our programming and reach, and connect with more institutions, communities and youth. By fulfilling our vision, we will help build the future of the skilled trades and technology workforce throughout the Northwest Territories.
